Dwight Blackshear started these companies in 1979, in Newport Beach, CA at the end of his career in the United States Marine Corps.

In the company’s 21 year existence, he maintained offices in Hollywood,
Marina del Rey and Los Angeles, CA, Atlanta, GA, Annapolis,
MD and Washington, DC.
During the
course of his 21 years in the production business, he produced
or directed 1,000s of hours of programming for his varied clients.
The companies’ productions ranged from TV programming,
government informational programs, IMAG presentations or consumer
production services.
His decision to close his companies was, "My profound desire to be more productive in making the planet a better place for all humanity, to include all animal and plants life."
As was noted on the wall in his office on how he measured his success:
