THE

HISTORY
OF THE MISSION
"Never
doubt that a small group of
committed people can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
Margaret Mead
The
mission of EV2K is to bring mankind together
with the hope of ensuring a better prospect of survival of our
species, the global villages and the globe we call home.
The
ongoing activity of EV2K will be to develop a link in
which all mankind can communicate freely.
To do this, we propose that youth, specifically chosen by their villages and between
the ages of 7 – 15, be given the opportunity to communicate
with one another crossing the barriers of politics, religion,
language and distance to jointly take part in discussing issues
of this globe. These
are issues that they could invariably inherit.
The
EV2K website will be set up to provide that communicational
link. The hope will be to develop an unbiased, interactive
and informational website providing a current status on the
‘state of the Globe’ and it’s ‘Global Villages’.
A
continuing additional mission of the project will be to assist
the villages within the villages in the selection of the youth
that will receive the responsibilities of representing their
village. The Global Village Tour (TGVT) teams
will deliver the coveted medallion and the HPGC – 1
computer to those recipients.
This computer will allow them immediate and continual
access to the resources of the EV2K website, communications
with the other representatives throughout the globe and access
to information on the globe and its global communities.
The
responsibility of delivering these items will fall upon TGVT
teams. These four teams
of 2 vehicles each will be transversing the globe and while
in constant communications with the world headquarters of EV2K,
deliver these medallions and computers.
"Peace
can not be attained through violence, it can only be
attained through understanding."
Albert Einstein
